The minimum furniture lift rental is 1 hour. After the first hour, we charge per additional 30 minutes. Most standard apartment moves take 2-4 hours depending on the floor and number of items to hoist. We will give you an accurate quote when you call -- book now and we can often start the same day.

Our trained operator handles everything related to the furniture elevator: setup, positioning, operating the controls, loading items onto the platform, and guiding them safely through the window to the correct storey. You (or your international movers) hand items to the operator at ground level and receive them on the upper floor. The operator ensures every piece of furniture is hoisted safely and efficiently, whether you are relocating within Amsterdam or arriving from abroad.

Our ladder lift platforms can carry items up to approximately 2.5 metres long and weigh up to 400 kg. This covers virtually all household items including sofas, wardrobes, pianos and washing machines. The furniture hoist reaches any floor, from the first storey right up to the highest upper floor. You can cancel or reschedule your furniture lift rental free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a fee. If the removal lift stands on a public road or pavement, you need an object permit (objectvergunning) from the municipality. This applies throughout the Netherlands, though rules are stricter in the Amsterdam city centre. Apply at least 5-10 working days in advance; the fee is approximately €50-100. Not sure what you need? Yes. We operate Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 19:00 -- available today if you need us. Sunday service is available on request. Weekend rates are the same as weekday rates, so there is no surcharge for Saturday bookings.
